daughter has "new" birthmarks

My second child (14 yr old daughter who had, I think, the most alien contact when she was younger) showed me yesterday her new marks. She asked me if birthmarks appeared later in life. I was like..."no." I recognized them right away as scars from being burned. (like, with a prong, the tip of a hot poker?). There are two scars side by side, behind her left lung, very flat and shiny, and they don't cause her discomfort. She discovered them in the mirror. Last time I saw that kind of "scar" was on my oldest daughters right chest, I found it while bra shopping when she was 12.

I thought birthmarks were signs of previous lifes? can you rule out that it is not a mole or anything else perhaps?
I'm not sure what to say here but to go with your gut instinct.

I would also state that maybe a meditation of somesort to find out why this is happening?

My daughter called them birth marks, sorry. A birth mark to me looks like either a freckle or a mole, or even a patch of just "discolored" skin (in one case I know a boy who has a patch of white hair on his head that is a circle). But in the case of what is new on her back, these are scars, not birthmarks. I titled this thread birthmarks to be sarcastic
