Something …and Nothing. (by Heather.)

Brooms of sweeping change unseen and unheard.
Only faintly wondered at like the silence of a thousand unfinished whisperings.
…….
A mountain of blank paper greets the one who asks no questions.
But quest for knowledge throws up very little of the wisdom of the ages.
…….
Steeped in tranquillity, and brewed from the perspective of the Sage,
I find a place where the strongest trusted thought evapourates.
All thoughts gathering…then splintering into a million fragments.
Just as the mirror’s image shatters with the stone’s impact.
…….
Can I trust the energy of the spoken word, knowing this?
Life goes on without even a hint of the light that is beyond truth.
Subtly lying in wait for the breath that heralds the changing patterns of creation.

Forever forgetting, reactivating, forgetting…forever…forever.[i]
